Biography

Magus Loki is probably the most respected man in Assiah, beside the emperor himself.

He is the arch-mage of Empyres and had already been  headmaster of the Great Academy for Magical Arts in Kaidalon.

There are no information about his past. But it’s certain that he origins from Zojira and

had a rather normal education within the Great Academy in Kaidalon.

50 years ago he achieved much glory when he killed the black dragon Belfagor.

Loki saved an entire Village from the dragon's senseless rage and this evidence of his amazing skills caused his great career within the academy. Some rumour tell that he had demonic support in the meantime which would explain the sudden increase of his powers.

Loki quickly became a high magus. He is a master of every magical subgroup and the creator of a few new and powerful spells, too. Its just logical that he was given the meaningful position of the Great Academy's headmaster but Loki soon quit his job. Within his heart he was still an adventurer and so he just disappeared. Nobody knows about his journeys and adventures instead there are only tales and rumour. Some tell that he searched for the elders of the dragon race, others that he traveled into the heart of the dangerous Akashesa-Desert to the mysterious Demon-Tower.

But 20 years ago he reappeared together with a baby, Lilith. Somehow he convinced the emperor to adopt the child. Today he is Lilith's patron. Although he is still often on journey, he frequently comes back to see how she had been and to teach her some new spells. Furthermore he sometimes appears in the Great Academy where he gives useful tips to the students and teachers.

Personality

Loki is an old and very wise man. Everybody respects him and he is often asked for advice. Today many people see him as friendly grandpa who often smiles and combines his wisdom with intelligent humour. But he still has the heart of an adventurer. In his youth he was a dogged and ballsy guy, swordsman and wizard in one person.
