Biography

Harut and Marut are twins and grew up more or less normally in Suto, the capital of the province Chennor. As a successful businessman's daughters, they were able to live a carefree life and to enjoy a good education. Despite her father's wishes, both chose the way of alchemy. They were excellent students with perfect marks. 

Until their final examination both sisters had been a heart and a soul.

But then everything changed. After their graduation at Suto’s best private school both wanted to the Great University for Alchemy in Meringrad. But only one apprenticeship place was free. The twins became competitors. The entrance examination consisted of some practical tasks at the university. Harut passed with a relatively high score. But in Marut’s case everything went wrong. Very quickly she found out the reason.  Her sister had sabotaged the examination but due to missing evidence, Harut got the apprenticeship place. Marut was not able to forgive her sister and left her quitting any contact.

While Harut studied, Marut became an apprentice to a very professional alchemist and old friend of her father. They did not even speak one word with each other for at least 2 years.

Their fusion happened in the February of the year 2499. Because of his morbid envy, a fellow student of Harut wanted to terminate her or at least put some heavy obstacles in her way. He created a devilish plan when he heard of Harut’s controversy with her sister. Since had rich parents, too, he was able to ask for Mammon's services. The Great Demon did his job and one morning Harut suddenly woke up in Marut’s bed, joined to it’s owner. Perforce, both arranged their quarrel and began to search for a way to undo their situation. On their journey both were also able to become friends again although Marut did not forgive her sister yet completely.

Personality

Marut and Harut are very different sisters.

Harut is very temperamental. She often acts on instinct but also has a clever shrewdness if it’s necessary. She is slightly egoistical, deceitful and sometimes even somewhat arrogant.

But Harut knows to divert from it by her temper and her stagecraft. Towards her friends she is however very honest and she also repents from deepest heart what she had done to Marut.

Marut is a very helpful and friendly human. She is rather shy and sometimes a little bit naïve.

Although she is seldomly angry, she cannot forgive Harut so far yet. The pain is still too deeply despite the perforce improved relation to her sister.

Due to their very different natures it frequently happens that Harut and Marut start to quarrel. Sometimes they even get rough…
