the character would be in her 30's a seaplane pilot who makes regular runs to the islands from the mainland. carrying mail, tourists etc to the resort (just on of the stops on her run, but a important one forher, having grown up with Sylvia) shes a fennec, goes by the name of Kari, has a past that might bite her in the future and flys a well mantained seaplane from the transoceanic war (hope i got that right :), sorta the equivelent to a PBY Catalina.

anyhow, she's single (not by choice, another back story ), had a daughter but lost her , is only about 4feet 8 inches tall. and has dirty brown fur

thats the bare bones of the idea...havent decided how to take it yet but have several options lined up, both stories and drawings...one is a neat aketch i drew of the plane parked at the dock, Kari grease smudged and half naked adusting somethng in the engine..while Sylvia's kids use the wing as a diving platform into the lagoon (now if i can just do it on real paper and have it come out the same...was a doodle on graph paper at work :)
