Sunnyvale is a bitch to get a CCW in. If you're planning on moving, you might want to make it to un-incorporated SC County, stay away from San Jose, might want to try Campbell, Morgan Hill, Gilroy ..most others will make it a pain for you to get a permit. Like I said, get a Mail Drop #1 !!! Change all legal documents to Mail Drop Address and don't tell ANYONE it's a mail drop. - Avoid Mailboxes, Etc... look for a small mom and pop like UPMS on S. Bernardo Ave @ ElCamino. - Change your drivers license and registration to mail drop and do it YESTERDAY - File a change of address with US post office forward all mail to mail drop address // You're creating a paper trail so far, do this before you move to a new "real" address. // Notify all credit card, etc people and apply for a few more so the systems get updated quicker with your new "address" // Let your voter registration lapse for now, you can re-do it later with a different address/// (this is the only thing a mail-drop will be recognized as a mail drop by the county voter reg) - Get a vest ASAP, and wear it ALL THE TIME and don't let anyone KNOW you are wearing one. (second chance makes a good IIa t-shirt vest). - Watch your ass ALL THE TIME, NEVER take the same route home more than once, alternate your patterns. Go out of your way to go to the peoples homes that are important to you. Keep an eye out for anything that doesn't "fit" the area. - Make sure you update work/ health insurance, etc with your "new" mailing address (read "home" address). - When you fill out the Post Office form for the Contract Mail Receiving Agent, make sure you list your old address, then create an endless loop by listing the mail drop and the old address on any documents,,, never use your new "real physical" address on anything. //// If you need help, let me know I'd be happy. // Work on the guard and especially gun card ASAP so you have firmer ground to stand on. /// Oh ya, and shred ANYTHING about your new address, the case, etc, or take your garbage to work and dump it. "dumpster diving for fun and profit" is more widespread than you think. ///IMPORTANT POINT //// your outbound AND inbound telephone company records are FAIR GAME, when looking for a new place to live, don't call from home AT ALL. You would be surprised at how easily I could find you from your telephone calls. Gangs have connections too, alot of their "women" work in records sections of police/sheriff's departments/// ( I know from experience :-( ) Scary !!! - I'm headed off to get married at the end of the week, if you need any advice, leave a message with the answering service, and I can call you back. Good luck, and watch your backside. /// Important note #2 ///// Don't let the prosecutor know your new "real' physical address, give them mail drop address with apt #, and don't tell them it's a mail drop.. if they need to serve you the person at the desk can accept service as your legal agent. Police Depts and DA offices are notorious for having leaky filing systems, when it's YOUR life, don't trust it to outsiders !!!!! // I know this may sound paranoid, BUT a little bit of caution "insurance" never hurt anyone. // Let me know if I can help. //// Also be aware the Defense attorney can subpoena ANY records it doesn't even really have to relate to the case, so the faster you can create a paper trail AWAY from the Real you, the better. /// Also when looking for a new place to live, BEWARE OF CREDIT CHECKS, AS THEY TOO LEAVE A TRAIL TO FOLLOW, AND THIS ONE COULD BE A DEADLY TRAIL !!!!! The bad guys could find you in a hour if you leave a credit trail for them to follow... if you want to be annoying, apply at lots of large apartments, then get a room in a house rented by a private party with no credit check necessary :-) BTW I charge my clients $70 per hour for this type of advice,,, see what you get by just running a good BBS ;-) ;-) Regards, Chris Hall * Origin: The Rising Storm - Sunnyvale, Ca. 408-739-8693 (9:1992/220)
