In order to help departments become more self-sufficient and make
informed decisions, CSE produces a wide variety of documents
on information technology security.
Guidelines:
This authoritative source contains high-level, long-term guidance
on all ITS issues for which we have lead-agency responsibility.
It is a master reference for all our federal government and private
sector clients and industrial partners.
Manuals:
CSE manuals cover "how-to" topics such as operating
and maintaining ITS equipment, using specific CSE services and
accessing CSE ITS programs.
Product Evaluation Reports
When CSE evaluates ITS products we report the results to our
clients. Whether the report is the result of minimal assurance
tests, an analysis to determine whether a specific security product
meets the requirement of a specific application, or a rigorous
evaluation to determine the generic applications in which a specific
product might be used, it increases the general knowledge of
ITS principles and practices, informs ITS professionals about
technical developments in the marketplace and helps our clients
spend their ITS dollars in an informed manner.
