Born into the Radov clan, Madame Aleksandra spent her young life as a gypsy nomad, travelling the landscape of (what was then) Traladara. Because her journeys instilled in her a love of people and their customs, Aleksandra spent much time among the villagers and developed her talent of "reading" people. Thus, most of her life was spent studying astrology and the art of fortune-telling and honing her skills. The art of fortunes is her first love and she bears no regrets of remaining unmarried and childless. She considers her clients to be her "children" and has had a few very passionate but brief love affairs throughout her long life.
Finding travel more difficult and dangerous in her old age, she decided to settle down in her favorite town, Estarios. A prospering community, Estarios has been developing a rich cultural flair and atmosphere of equality and security since Baroness Magda Marilenev-Elypsium and Dame Baroness Chanarra Elypsium-Marilenev came to power. Madame Aleksandra has known Baroness Magda for years and considers Dame Baroness Chanarra one of her "children" (albeit one probably in need of discipline).
Madame uses her incredible psychic abilities to detail horoscopes, read palms, see into the future, and the like (all for a minimal price).
Stat-wise, Madame Aleksandra is a 3rd level thief; AL N; AC 5 (dexterity bonus, ring of protection +2); hp 12; THACO 17; #AT 1 dagger or special; Dmg 1d4+2 (dagger +2) or special; S9 D16 C10 I15 W12 Ch15; Magical Items: dagger +2, ring of protection +2, ring of invisibility, boots of elven kind, 1 oil of etherialness. Notes: Madame Aleksandra is a kindly old woman and will avoid combat if at all possible. If cornered, she will not hesitate to use her ring of invisibility or her oil of etherialness to escape and flee to Elypsium Manor to enlist help from the Baronesses and their companions. Any harm done to Madame Aleksandra will not escape the attention of the Baronesses, who will use any and all magical means necessary in order to capture, try, and prosecute the offender(s). [Note: the fair treatment will probably only take place if Baroness Magda is present at the time of capture. The Dame Baroness prefers to extract the truth through magical means, then avenge her friend's deaths through immediate (but in no means painless) execution. In other words, don't harm Madame Aleksandra if you want characters to live.
