When will XvT be in stores?

We're targeting sometime in the Winter of 1996.

Will there be a Mac version of XvT?

At this time, only on a PC CD-ROM version is planned. LucasArts' commitment to game development on the Macintosh platform remains unchanged, however. As a demonstration of the company's commitment, LucasArts has released Macintosh versions of every PC game it has developed over the past year-and-a-half. As with previous Macintosh games offered by LucasArts, releases are determined on a product-by-product basis. LucasArts will maintain this same philosophy with all future game releases on the Macintosh platform.

What are the system specs?

An early estimate is a P75 or 486DX 100 - running Windows95, 8MB RAM, Double-speed CD-ROM, Joystick and a DirectX compatible video card - Minimum required.

Will XvT support modem play?

Yes, two player head-to-head and cooperative play via modem & null modem connect will be supported.

What network protocols will XvT support?

IPX and TCP/IP, using DirectPlay.

What about single player missions?

All the missions in the game will be playable with just one player and some missions are especialy designed for single player.

How many players will network play support?

8 players in cooperative, melee or combet engagements.

Do you need beta testers for this?

No thanks, we do all testing in house.

When will a demo available to download?

We are hoping to have a demo version available shortly after release.

Will the game support Windows95?

Yes, it will be Win95 native.

What video cards will the game support?

Any, if the card is using the correct DirectX drivers.

Will there be a customized mission feature?

Yes, the missions in XvT will be highly configurable.
