According to The Hollywood Reporter, Nickelodeon has acquired
the TV rights to K.A. Applegate's Scholastic book series Animorphs,
about a group of five teens that can morph into any animal they
touch.  The live-action fantasy adventure series is scheduled to
premiere in primetime on the cable network this fall.

Scholastic Productions, the producers of "Goosebumps," the No. 1-rated
   kids' TV program, is going to develop its top-selling book series "
   [INLINE] Animorphs [INLINE] " into a series, according to The
   Hollywood Reporter. The series will be a live-action drama based on
   K.A. Applegate's books about five teenagers who can morph into any
   animal they choose.
