Scrooge comes upon the ghost of Christmas Present in Dicken's "Christmas Carol"

I like to do a drawing for Christmas each year. It is sort of a personal tradition that I have followed for many years. It is not only fun to do, but it also helps me to get into the holiday spirit.

I start the process by putting down a number of Christmasy ideas many months in advance of the holiday. Most of them, like this one, never go beyond the rough conceptual stage. But eventually, usually only a week or two before December 25th, and in a panic of not being able to finish it, I begin. :)
