Shirtraiser by Lionus (2003)
"... and when he saw that he had attracted your eye, he slowly, every so slowly, pulled the waist of his T-shirt upward over his stomach while at the same time he slowly unzipped his jeans."
Like a lot of my drawings this one comes from a pose I saw somewhere. Where it was I do not remember. An advertisement? A movie poster? A dream. Real life?
"I remember the stare that he fixed me with. A smiling stare that mocked my earlier pretended disinterest at the party. A smiling self-confident stare that dared me to match his boldness and continue watching him as each slow second ticked by and he grew more naked in front of me. Would I chicken out and look away, proving myself to be the coward? If I did, then I instinctively knew that it would never happen again. Yet with each passing second as more of his body was slowly exposed to me, I felt as though it was I who was being undressed and made naked. All the coverings that I had hidden myself with over the years were dropping away softly one by one to the floor. And his eyes laughed at the knowledge that we both silently understood this."
