Model Pose on a Bright Late Spring Morning in the Studio

An old sketch that had been kicking around since June of '02 that I finally decided to finished. Usually once I get the idea down that motivated me to draw in the first place I am content and that is that for the drawing. But in this case the memory of the my lionmorph model posing for me in the warm sunshine streaming in through the tall windows of my studio had to be more fully expressed before it would rest. And so I put in some post-drawing shading and now my pic is finally finished.
