Contact Lens by Lionus (1997)

A pencil drawing that, like many of my drawings, started out just as a drawing exercise. In this exercise I set myself the goal of drawing the foreshortening of a lionmorph on all fours as seen from the rear.

After finishing the drawing the whole reason for him being on all fours and looking backwards popped into my mind.

I am sure that while the lionmorph does not know the reason for the unusual requirements of searching for his friend's dropped contact lens right now, he is sure to find out in the end. ;)
