Dai in Chains by Lionus (1998)

The prison door is being unlocked and ....

Here is a picture that I did to convey, among other things, the helpless vulnerability of a young leonine prisoner being held in a dark dank dungeon. Hopefully I conveyed those feelings by his exposed nudity and in the expression on his face.

Dai (pronounced as "Day") Blackclaw, the hapless prisoner in this picture, is one of my characters up on Tapestries Muck. His brash self-confidence often times leads him into things that are well beyond his capacity to handle. So portraying him here in a dungeon is par for the course he sometimes sets for himself.

Oh, and to answer the question, the door to Dai's cell is not being opened by his tormentor, but by one of the liberating soldiers who have vanquished the evil-doer and are freeing the prisoners. Happy Endings are the best kind.
