Cousins by Lionus (2005)

While cousins are not lovers they can certainly be very good friends

A trip to his Uncle's house for Dai (pronounced as "Day") leads him to being left in the company of his older cousin for the day.
Derrick is in high school and ... well what with Dai's poorly disguised idol worship of the football jock, a conversation about cars soon leads to something else and eventually to a "climactic" finish. ;-)

Pencil to Photoshop. This is the first of my "widescreen" formatted pictures. Yeah, I know, it looks a bit "squinchy" from what you are accustomed to, but I think it gives the impression of a clip taken from a widescreen movie. Besides that, are not computer monitor screens more *horizontal* then they are vertical? Hmmmm? :-)

In any case this wider (2.4:1) format gives me (and anyone else who would like to experiment with it) the room to spend a little more time working with the backgrounds and "back stories" of artworks. Something that I think is superior to just sticking a photograph or something else equally as bland behind the character(s). Interesting and rewarding backgrounds, in my opinion, are something that is sorely missing from most Furry artwork. As if you the visitor do not deserve the extra effort.

Except for a few items (and those seriously altered in PS), everything in this pic started out hand drawn from my imagination. The inspiration for this picture comes from ... well, again, never you mind where it comes from. ;) Just enjoy.
