My name is Maaxinn, but call me Max. I'm a bariaur, if you didn't catch that one already. Oh, you don't know what a bariaur is? Well, then. You need to be enlightened. Do you know what a centaur is? You know, the horse-human-thing? Well, just replace the horse with a large mountain sheep. And you have a bariaur. They're really cool, if I do say so myself.
As for my own physical description, I'm about 6'9", weigh somewhere around 1180 pounds (Hey. I've got 6 appendages. Lay off.), and am about 18 years old. I've got black hair, blue eyes that many have fallen in love with, and my wool is dyed black. In the wool is a beadwork design. It's a falcon which looks to the left, wings spread, with a sun rising over its head. In one of its talons is a balance; in the other is a spear. Guess what?! I'm a paladin of Horus! Could you tell that that was my symbol of faith?
Horus is the god of, among other things, revenge. If you want to know more about him, for the Planes' sake, PLEASE do your OWN research!! When Horus deems revenge needed, it is our right and our duty to follow his wishes. That's why his appreciation of his followers is so important to us.
I was born in Elysium and grew up at the Monastery of the Righteous Blade of the Sun. There, I learned to fight and to use the skills gifted to me by Horus and his parents, Osiris and Isis. With this guidance in mind, I set out recently on my first mission: to seek revenge on the assassin of a member of the Faith.
Along the way, I've met up with a few interesting people: Jewel, an interesting and intelligent youth; Timbry, the most bizarre person I've run into as of yet, Blaze, a short and stocky, but very powerful fighter, Ashlissa, a unique sort of mind-mage, and Themis, a very creative and nearly too-powerful-for-her-own-good mage.
In general, I guess you shold know a few more things about me. I'm pretty darn strong (STR 17), but not particularly so for my size. I'm not particularly dexterous, but not bad at it either (DEX 12). By the same token, I manage to keep myself fairly healthy, though I've met people more so than I (CON 13). I am, however, very competent and learned (INT 15) as well as up on my common sense skills (WIS 13). Oh, and as looks go, I'm VERY popular with the females (CHA 18).
Oh. I'm also a member of the faction of the Sign of One (the Signers). The general belief is that someone, somewhere, controls the multiverse with his imagination. It's possible that one or more of the gods associated with Horus did, but we'll never know that, now, will we?
